A happy ending was given to the “Odyssey” of the wife and child of the Ukrainian player of AEK Evgen Sakhov, as both are now safe in Greece.
At its border station Bastion The AEK football player was found today, Friday, who had traveled to the Romanian-Ukrainian border in order to meet and pick up his wife and their newborn baby girl, in order for them all to come to our country together.
The wife of the Ukrainian football player, Alona, stated that she gave birth to a baby girl named Amelia 12 days ago in a Kiev hospital. “I was in a shelter every day, but I went to give birth in a hospital,” she said Alona Sakhofdeclaring calm and safe that she returned to her second home, in Greece.
For his part, the AEK footballer stated that he started two days ago to pick up his pregnant wife, their baby and his mother-in-law, from the border with Romania. “I am saddened by all this situation that I saw on the road with many of my compatriots who are leaving Ukraine to save their lives,” said Yevgeny Sakhov, thanking Greece for the support it provides.
In Kyiv, however, remain parents and brother of the AEK football player.
