Through the Gov.gr Wallet, the information on the penalty points, which are counted in the Driver Behavior Control System (DBSS), is available for drivers from today.

More specifically, as part of the collaboration between the Ministers of Citizen Protection, Michalis Chrysochoidis, Infrastructure and Transport, Christos Staikouras and Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou and the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Thanos Petralias, a new option has been added to the digital driver’s license in Gov.gr Wallet entitled “SESO Violations”.

In this way, drivers have access to their offenses recorded in the SESSO for the last five years, as well as any driving license suspension notices.

The information is drawn from the application of the Ministry of Transport “Certification of Penalty Points in SESO” through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Government of the Ministry of Digital Government and is immediately updated every time the citizen opens the “SESO Violations” option in the digital wallet of. The information shown concerns all violations that have been counted in the last five years, regardless of whether they have been statute-barred or not.

It is pointed out that the penalty points, as displayed in the Gov.gr Wallet regarding violations of the SESSO, have no evidentiary value and are only intended to inform users about their driving behavior.

The design and development of the service was done by the Ministry of Transport, the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance and the National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures (EDYTE SA – GRNET) of the Ministry of Digital Governance.

It is reminded that citizens can install the Gov.gr Wallet application directly on their mobile phone through the App Store or Google Play, as well as through wallet.gov.gr. The penalty points in the Driver Behavior Control System are the eleventh document included in the Gov.gr Wallet. The following documents are already available: the Police Identity Card, the Driving License, the Digital Disability Card, the Digital Unemployment Card (DYPA), the Ring Badge for free access to the ring of Athens, the vehicle details (MyAuto), the Academic ID , the Speed ​​Boat License, the e-EFKA Insurance Capacity, and the Companion Animals.
