The message of the president of POEDIN Michalis Giannakou

“Attention colleagues! Under no circumstances do we run a red light. Any violation of the Code of Conduct is the sole responsibility of the driver with all that this means. We understand the psychological pressure of the rescuers who operate in adverse conditions due to the intense traffic every day on the roads, the very small force of the ambulances operating in Attica, and it results in long delays resulting in the rescuers’ frantic effort to quickly transport them to the hospitals . However, the safety of the citizens, the rescuers, the safety of the attendants and the patients being treated always comes first.

“We express our condolences to the motorcyclist’s family. Our condolences to the 2 rescuers, the patient and her companion.”
