More than three years after the 15-year-old (today) student decided to “break” her silence, the Mixed Jury Court of Thessaloniki sentenced the 43-year-old (today) defendant to 11 years in prison for abusing a minor (under 12), showing him the way back to prisons.
He himself, after the minor’s complaint, had fled to M. Britain in violation of a restrictive condition that had been imposed on him for another criminal case and with judicial assistance he was extradited to Greece.
Apologizing in court, Mr 43 years old he denied the charge against him. During preliminary investigation, he had claimed that it was a false complaint in order to be forced to leave the house where they lived in the area of ​​Pella and to stop the fights he had with her mother.
The court took a different view, judging as reliable the detailed accounts given by the minor when she was asked to describe her sexual abuse.
