Servings: 2 cups cookie dough
Ingredients for the Basic Dough:
1 cup all purpose flour, heat treated
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup brown sugar, pressed
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Options for flavors:
Double chocolate
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
For a birthday
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
6 tablespoons of colored truffle
Instructions
- Heat treatment of the flour: Heat the flour for 1.5 minutes in the microwave or for 7 minutes in a preheated oven at 150°C, until its temperature reaches 71°C. This eliminates any bacteria and makes it safe to eat.
- Dough preparation: In a large bowl, beat the butter with the sugars until smooth. Add the vanilla and salt and continue to mix.
- Adding flour: Pour the heat-treated flour into the butter and sugar mixture a little at a time, mixing well each time. Add milk spoon by spoon until you get the desired consistency.
- Adjust the flavor: Add the chocolate chips or truffle, depending on the flavor you want to create.
- Serving and storage: The dough is ready to eat immediately, but you can store it in the refrigerator for later.
