Information from Cretalive.gr states that too many people had not been informed about the stormy developments and people attended the church normally. Mr. Kokosalis maintained that the quantity of cocaine was exclusively for the personal use of his principal and the appropriate explanations will be given competently, while he described the 36-year-old as a very sociable person and particularly well-liked.

Two citizens (a man and a woman) were arrested yesterday (23.11.2024) in the area of ​​the Municipality of Hersonissos by police officers of the Police Operations Department of Heraklion, accused of violations of legislation on drugs and weapons and the Law on Antiquities.

In particular, in the context of the special planning and actions prepared by the Heraklion Police Directorate to fight crime and combat the possession and trafficking of narcotic substances and after appropriate utilization of information by police officers of the above service yesterday (23.11.2024) a coordinated police operation was carried out in the morning business.

During the operation, searches were carried out at the citizen’s houses, while the citizen was found at the scene and found to be in possession of a container containing three packages of a total amount of 174.1 grams of cocaine.

In the searches carried out in the homes of the two nationals, the following were found and confiscated in total:
-132- cartridges of various calibers,
-2- precision scales,
amphora,
statuette,
the monetary amount of (3,550) euros and
-2- mobiles
