This process is done electronically.
As he pointed out, from January 2025 the simplified digital platform will be opened “Changes». In cases of disputes between owners who have not submitted a declaration to the land registry, the deadline for corrections and lawsuits is until the end of 2026. The ministry, the minister added, will provide new technological, digital tools to the services to serve citizens faster. The records of the mortgage offices will also be digitized. According to the minister, at the beginning of 2025 we will have satellite images from all over Greece with Greek-owned satellites.
Regarding the issue of land registration, the minister said:
“In July, when we took over last year, land registration was 39% complete. Today we are at 53% and at the end of 2025 our goal is to be at 100%. We are leaving this centuries-old system and going to a digital engraving. Everyone will know about every point of Greece that is demarcated, where the line is and every line that is drawn.”
Regarding the digital map maps.ktimatologio.gr, he said that people can see through this application the progress of the cadastral register. “The areas in blue are finished.
