Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis exchanged wishes and gifts for the holidays with students of the minority Primary School and the Second Chance School of the community of Megalo Dereio of the Municipality of Soufli in Evros, with whom he met today at Megaro Maximos.
The prime minister discussed with the young students, the teachers and the parents who accompanied them about life at school and in their village, while he also had the opportunity to hear their impressions from their visit to Athens. The children invited Kyriakos Mitsotakis to visit their school.
Three of the mothers accompanying the children, who attend the Second Chance School, expressed to the prime minister their satisfaction with the fact that they now have the opportunity to complete compulsory education, highlighting the new professional prospects that are opening up and the improvement in their daily lives .
It should be noted that the Second Chance School in Megalo Derio started operating this year and has 37 students, aged 35-55.
