A happy ending was the rescue operation of five climbers from Germany, which was set up on Mount Dikti, shortly after midnight on Monday.
The five people according to the mayor of Lassithi Plateau were lost in the mountains and were located above the village of Mesa Lassithi at an altitude of 1,200 meters, with snow in the area exceeding 1.5 meters.
