Five minors between the ages of 14 and 16 were arrested yesterday in Paros, against whom a criminal case was filed for, as the case may be, the offenses of attempted murder, aiding and abetting attempted murder, carrying a weapon, using a weapon, causing simple and dangerous bodily harm, insulting, and threatening .

Five other young people are involved in the case, of which three are boys and two are girls.

In particular, according to ELAS, on Friday night in a village square in Paros, after a ten-member group of young people quarreled, for an insignificant reason, with two brothers aged 23 and 33 years old, one of the minor perpetrators wounded the 23-year-old twice on the left side with a knife. of the chest, a fight ensued with the 33-year-old and they fled.

The two injured were initially taken to the island’s Health Center for first aid, while for the 23-year-old it was deemed necessary to transfer him to the Syros General Hospital for further treatment.

As it became known from ELAS, during the investigation, the knife used in the attack was found and confiscated, while the 16-year-old who used it, a 15-year-old who helped him escape from the scene, and three others aged 14 were subsequently identified and arrested. , 14 and 16 years old who participated in the episode.

The two arrested, aged 16 and 15, will be brought to the Syros First Instance Prosecutor’s Office for attempted homicide and complicity in it, while the investigation continues in order to fully ascertain the details of the rest of those involved and their degree of participation in the incident.
