The 16-year-old who is accused of attacking a 23-year-old in Marpissa of Paros last Friday 12/20 after an argument will be sent to prison after his plea at the Syros Court of First Instance. The minor was arrested and confessed to hitting the victim with a knife, while the 33-year-old brother of the 23-year-old, who was also beaten by the group of minors, also recognized him.

For the same incident, a 15-year-old accused of running away from the 16-year-old perpetrator was released after the incident, according to ertnews.gr.

According to the mother of the victims of the attack, the youth group has been creating problems in Marpissa for months. The 33-year-old brother of the victim, who was also attacked by the group of youths, was admitted to the Syros hospital with walking problems after being beaten.

Last Friday (20/12) two residents of the Marpissa region – brothers 23 and 33 years old – made a remark to the young people, as a result of which an initially verbal episode was created, which ended in the 23 year old being attacked by the young people.

The young man he was stabbed twice in the back, which caused a hole in his lung. Some time ago, the 33-year-old brother of the victim had protested and asked them to leave the area. From that day, the young people started going outside the 33-year-old’s house every day. On Friday, a small group of people turned up in the late afternoon and threw stones at his house. He chased after them and a few meters down he was attacked by seven other people. Meanwhile, the 33-year-old’s partner had already alerted the little brother who rushed to the scene. There he found his brother lying on the ground with the group of youths on top of him beating him. In trying to help his brother, the 23-year-old was stabbed twice in the back. The young perpetrators immediately afterwards disappeared from the scene.
