From the Narcotics Prosecution Sub-Directorate of the Organized Crime Directorate, a police operation was organized and carried out today, Monday, December 30, 2024, in the morning, in a luxury residence in the southern suburbs, where people were arrested in case of trafficking and possession of narcotics.

In the context of the police operation, which was carried out with the assistance of the Financial Police Sub-Directorate, the Special Operations Teams of the D.A.O.E. and a specially trained police dog, 10 people were arrested, who are accused of – as the case may be – possession and trafficking of narcotics and disposal of the premises.

An appropriate evaluation and utilization of information was preceded and after a thorough and in-depth investigation, a single-family house was located where it was found that a party was being held with some of the patrons in possession of narcotic substances.

In more detail, the 10 people were found in the premises of the house to be in possession of various narcotic substances, while among those arrested is the person who provided the premises as well as the organizer of the event.

The latter was found in a bedroom in possession of 45 packages (nylon, paper, bottles, plastic container) with cocaine weighing 79.2 grams, 117 ECSTASY tablets, 23.5 medicinal tablets, pink cocaine weighing 3.3 grams, crystal methamphetamine weighing 2 ,8 grams, 11 soaked papers with LSD and MDMA weighing -0.7- grams. In addition, a safe was found in the room containing the sum of -43,605- euros.

At the same time, as part of the operation, 2 policemen and a judicial policeman were arrested, for whom it emerged that they provided guarding and surveillance services for the exterior of the detached house.

In total, from the possession of those involved and from the search carried out at the site, the following were found and confiscated:

  • -97.3- grams of cocaine,
  • -10.5- grams of pink cocaine,
  • -190- ECSTASY tablets,
  • -2.2- grams ECSTASY powder,
  • -23.5- XANAX tablets,
  • -13.4- grams of raw cannabis,
  • -5.5- grams of cannabis in the form of chocolate,
  • -11- papers impregnated with LSD,
  • -5.5- grams of ketamine,
  • -2.8- grams of crystal methamphetamine,
  • -2.2- gramsMDMA,
  • -8.7- grams of powders of various colors,
  • -701.9- grams of liquids of unknown chemical composition,
  • -6- tablets of unknown chemical composition
  • -44,605- euros and
  • -4- mobiles.

The arrested, some of whom have been accused in the past of similar and other crimes, were taken to the competent prosecution authority.
