The start of the implementation of the introductory training program for natural persons, who submitted an application for certification and registration in the Register of Agricultural Consultants on Monday, January 20, was announced by the ELGO-DIMITRA.

The program will be invited to watch 1,223 interested parties whose applications or objections were approved by decision of the Board of Directors of ELGO-DIMITRA, as well as 330 already registered in the Registry who applied to be certified in additional subject areas.

It is noted that the training program will be implemented using the method of distance asynchronous education (e-learning), through the e-learning platform of ELGO-DIMITRA https://ekatartisi.elgo.gr and will last eleven (11) weeks.

The educational material will be made available gradually, per thematic field, on a weekly basis. The educational material will be posted on the platform every Monday and will last until Sunday. Learners will have access to the current and previous weeks’ material.

On the following Monday of the posting week of each thematic field, the trainees will complete and they will submit the assessment tests. The exams will take place in the afternoon (6-8 pm) and will last one (1) hour.

As ELGO-DIMITRA emphasizes in its announcement “the rating scale ranges from 0 to 100%. The process is considered successful when the learner receives a grade greater than or equal to 70% per thematic field. In the event that the score of one or more thematic areas does not exceed 70%, the learner has the possibility of re-examination only once. The repeat exams will be held after the completion of the educational cycle.”

Finally, regarding the evaluation of the program, during the posting week of each thematic field, the form will be posted and submitted by the trainees “Evaluation of training program by thematic field”.
