An announcement on the case of the 39-year-old’s disappearance in the area of Larissa was issued by Union of Prosecutors of Greece.

In more detail:

On the occasion of publications, statements and “analyses” of so-called experts, which refer to the disappearance, under circumstances that are being investigated, of a relative of a public prosecutor’s office, and attempt to connect this fact with the performance of the duties of the specific public prosecutor’s office and her handling of case files at the expense of “well-known actors of the local community”, the Association of Prosecutors of Greece expresses its sadness and
her indignation, for the attempted, through these publications, exploitation, which does not constitute news and journalism, of the human suffering and agony of the relatives of the disappeared.

We emphasize for the umpteenth time that publications, statements and speculations that evade information and under the guise of supposedly informing the public, turn human suffering into a commodity, to create impressions and satisfy their own interests, do not belong in a civilized society, are not useful and must finally to disappear.
