A 47-year-old man was arrested yesterday morning in Kallithea by police officers of the Investigations Department of the Attica Crime Investigation and Prosecution Directorate, against whom convictions were pending with a total prison sentence of 10 years and 3 months for the offenses of serial fraud and forgery.

In particular, according to ELAS, the 47-year-old pretending – as the case may be – to be an accountant, a lawyer, a business consultant and a businessman with a large financial surface, convinced his victims and managed to extract sums of money in most cases.

In addition, there is pending against him an order of the President of Appeals of Athens ordering his temporary detention as a defendant for torture and murder of a companion animal as the defendant, at an earlier time and using poisoned food, killed his ex-partner’s companion dog for reasons of personal revenge.

In addition, in order to avoid arrest, he constantly changed residences and moved mainly in rented vehicles or vehicles belonging to other people.

The arrested person was taken to the competent Prosecutor’s Office.
