Data from the new underwater seismographs in Santorini have already risen to a server so that the National Observatory can study them.
Last week, in a report by “where there is Greece”, we had watched the placement of new technology seismographs in the Santorini area.
Data from portable underwater seismographs in Santorini is collected by the scientific team of EKEI Law Professor of Geological Oceanography.
Seismographers have been recovered and according to Evi Law, their data is sent for processing, and in the coming days an underwater robot will enter the Columbus submarine volcano to collect new data.
As explained to “where there is Greece” on SKAI, Ms Law, in Nea Kammeni with the group from the Army Geographical Service, the researchers proceeded with gravity measurements by substantially repeating the measurements made in 2011-2012, exactly at the same points.
All trigonometric points in the area were also measured by satellite depiction to determine any deformities.
The same process was launched to take place in both Santorini and Thirasia.
