On Friday, January 17, 2025, Omega Divers Co., who maintains an exclusive contract with Marina, has worked with Lime for the first bottom skate recovery operation. In total, 16 skates were successfully recovered. Lime utilizes GPS technology to monitor the location of its skates, allowing immediate cases where they end up in water.

Lime’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond skaters. The company is implementing an integrated program for “reuse, repair, recycling”, focusing on elongation of the lifetime of skaters. All Gen 3 skates are designed for easy disassembly, allowing the components to be reused. Lime technicians perform all the necessary maintenance work, further reducing material waste and environmental impact.
Lime skates are also designed for water resistance and resistance. Their battery is mounted on a substrate with enhanced protection structure, ensuring a degree of IPX7 sealing, while the battery itself has a degree of IP67 protection, providing safety in the event of a temporary immersion.
