Euthanasia will undergo 90 whales who came to a Tasmania beach and it was impossible to return to the ocean despite rescuers.

The whales were washed near the article river on the west coast of Tasmania where they remained for many hours as they were disoriented and tired. For this reason, as the authorities argued, they decided to submit the gardens to euthanasia so as not to suffer.

The last time that so many whales killers were trapped in Tasmania 50 years ago, in June 1974, when they came to Black River beach on the northern coast of the island.

Similar operations for the return of whales to the ocean had been used to move them to water. This time it was not possible to send equipment to the remote and inaccessible location, as Brenton Clark said from the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service.

Citizens had been warned to stay away from whales for their own safety, as the gardens are large and weighing from 500 kg to about three tonnes.
