After an incident of injury to 2 students by their classmate – preliminary examination and for the Magnesia Secondary Education Directorate
Disciplinary prosecution and suspension of duties for a school unit headquarters in Magnesia was ordered by Minister of Education, Religions and Sports Kyriakos Pierrakakis, following an incident of injuring two students from their classmate in a high school in the area. According to informal information by the Ministry, a preliminary examination was also ordered for the Magnesia Secondary Education Directorate.
“The pupil who wounded a pen on his foot in his classmate should not have been at school that day, after taking up a similar incident with another classmate who had injured.”mentioned.
The ministry also notes that the student in question “had abusive behavior” and “had to have already changed school unit, as the pedagogical measure of changing school environment was imposed.”
“The school’s management then alerted the Magnesia Public Prosecutor’s Office and the student was attended by the school psychologist. However, with the invocation of bureaucratic reasons (lack of its transfer to another school), the decision was not implemented and remained at the school, “he said.
Finally, according to the ministry, the two injured students are in good health and will receive psychological support from school psychologists.
