Mass and dynamic gathering was held today at her Georgiou Square Patrasin memory of the 57 dead of the railway accident at Tempi.

In the crowded rally, where beyond the square it expanded to all neighboring roads, the demand for justice was dominated.

The large gathering was attended by city agencies, labor unions and trade unions, students, students, teachers, traders, professionals, colleges, representatives of self -government, parties, clubs and ordinary citizens.

Many of the protesters were holding banners and posters, asking “there is no concealment” as well as white and black balloons with the names of the dead, and throughout the concentration they were shouting slogans.

Speaking to the gathering, Patras Mayor Costas Peletidis stressed, among other things:

“We will not let the culprits be confused, for the fact that we mourned our people, our children dead two years ago, because in the 21st century two trains were found in the same line, in opposite directions.

In their memory and honoring them, we promise to go the struggle to the end, without receding to those who sacrifice even the lives of the people for the earnings of the few. We will not be scraped. Those who think that our today’s gathering is of an anniversary, that we will “relieve” and manage to manipulate our rage are deeply laughed. “

Meanwhile, at the initiative of the Bar Association, its members gathered outside the central entrance of the Judicial Palace, before gathering at Georgiou Square, holding a large banner and white balloons with the names of the dead of the rail tragedy.

At the end of the rally, a march was followed on the main streets of the city, which passed outside the city’s central train station and the courthouse.

A large gathering for the multi -rail tragedy in Tempi was also held in the central square of Pyrgos. The rally was attended by public and private workers, unions, unions, farmers, teachers, students, professionals and traders and more.

During the gathering, the crowd of the world demanded with slogans and banners justice for the victims of the Tempe tragedy and a responsibility.

In Agrinio, a mass rally took place in the Republic Square, where the involvement of young people who demanded justice was dominated.

During the gathering there was a great deal of emotion when the names of the 57 dead were read.

Also, from the Papastratou pedestrian street to the Republic Square, symbolic train lines were deployed, made of films, which ended up in the center of the square, where pigeons were placed on paper.

The gathering ended with lectures by representatives of the Labor Center, the teachers, the farmers, the parents and guardians’ associations, the traders and more.

High rallies were also held in other cities in Western Greece, such as Amaliada, Aigio, Mesolongi, Nafpaktos, Kalavryta and others.
