The family of well -known criminologist Alexis Kougia, who left yesterday, February 28th, has been immersed in mourning after an unequal battle with cancer.
In a moving post, his son, Christos Kougias, posted a series of photos with his beloved father, and revealed what he told him when he learned about the diagnosis of cancer.
In detail in his post he states:
“Dad, yesterday was the most difficult day of my life. Up to Tuesday. I can’t believe that you are no longer with us. You fought a huge battle that, despite the inhidden end, makes me feel proud of you. Because you never gave up. You did not let the illness to alter your personality.
You were a born winner. Even on the day I learned that the end is coming and crying in front of you and you said ” Why are you crying? You are Cougar. Don’t be scared. We will also cleanse cancer ”.
I am Cougar. And I will try to make you proud. I will maintain this winner mentality you had. I will try to look strong for Maira, no matter how much I hurt. I will never give them up like you. Dad, you can finally calm down, rest because you deserve it. You can be quiet and let me and Mayraki continue what you built. Be sure we will do it because we have people with us who love and care for us. We will do it because I know that you will always be with us to advise us.
Daddy, Yesterday I lost a piece of myself. I lost my man. You will miss me a lot. Too. Our well -established good morning, our ” cauldron ”. Our discussions about law, football, our lives. Our short phone calls that we soon analyzed our day.
I will miss the our established food on Sundays. I will miss your jokes, your humor. I will miss everything. Dad, you were unique.

For everyone you are Alexis Kougias. Image, teacher, best friend. That’s what you mean to me. But above all you are my father. I am proud to be your son.
