Severe cold and snow prevail on Sunday in Attica, from Saturday night. Among others, he has “laid it” in Penteli, Ippokratio Politia, Ymittos, Melissia, Parnitha, Glyka Nera, Gerakas.

Cloudy skies temporarily increased with local rains or sleet from noon, mainly in the north and east, are forecast for today in the Basin. Temporary snowfall will occur in the north, mainly in the mountains. Winds will blow northeast up to 7 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 1 to 7 degrees Celsius.

The cold was particularly noticeable from early yesterday afternoon.

Specifically, snowfall was observed in areas such as Glyka Nera and Gerakas.

The snowfall was light, initially and was observed in the northern and eastern suburbs, indicatively in areas such as Drosia, Stamata, Kryoneri but also north of them.

EMY had warned that from Saturday afternoon there was a possibility of light rain and snowfall in Parnitha.
