With the executive director of the Organization of the European Union for Aviation Security (EASA) Mr. Florian Guillermet, the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Mr. Christos Staikouras, met in the presence of the Civil Aviation Authority Commander Mr. Christos Tsitouras.

During the meeting, which was held at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the significant dynamics of the Civil Aviation sector in Greece was discussed, as evidenced by the high rates of air industry in the country, as well as the upgrading of the supervisory project achieved by the Air Force.

As stated in a statement by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, “the progress made in the last one and a half years in all areas related to air activity in Greece was also recorded, which has been imprinted on the results of the most recent inspections in which the Civil Aviation Authority was submitted by the EU Aviation (ICAO).

Finally, in a particularly positive way, the completion of the EASA certification procedure was commented on by the Ten State Air Force Management Airport (CAA), which fall within the scope of the European Regulatory Framework, confirming their compliance with the applicable infrastructure and operational specifications.
