About 30 appeals were made by police and in Thessaloniki for the episodes that took place in the process for Tempi
Episodes took place on Friday night at Syntagma Square after the rally-collecting creek for the Tempi accident, organized by workers’ centers, federations and trade unions.
The episodes broke out around 22:00, when a group of hoodlums threw Molotov, stones and other objects, next to the statue of the unknown soldier. Following was followed by hoodlum clashes with the police officers, who responded by using chemicals, and the Aiantas aquatic vehicle was also used.
The incidents were then moved to Panepistimiou Street and Propylaia and continued to Omonia Square and Karaiskakis Square. According to ELAS, 18 appeals and three arrests were made.
A new tension occurred on Egnatia Road shortly afterwards, after the completion of the Tempe route.
A group of people with their characteristics covered their faces turned around and set fire to buckets from Egnatia to Hagia Sophia, resulting in the Fire Brigade.
According to ELAS, 61 arrests and 7 arrests have been made so far.

On Friday, March 7, 2025 at 7:00 pm, a new scheduled rally was held at Syntagma Square, on the occasion of the Railway in Tempe with the participation of Labor Unions and Associations, Student Associations, Political Parties and Colleges.
Shortly after 22:00, a group of people with their facial features were covered, while the concentrated had not left, two consecutive attacks with throws of marble, flares and Molotov bombs were fired at the expense of the rehabilitation squads that were prolonged in front of the army.
Police forces repelled those attackers by regular movements, without other means, until the main volume of the concentrated was removed.
Afterwards, the police forces attempted circularly in Omonia and Karaiskakis squares, where they found and stopped many of the attackers.
A total of -61 – have been made by both the pre -checks and the surgery, of which -7 – have been converted into arrests so far.
