The restoration and upgrading of the natural environment and security in the municipality of Penteli, which was particularly affected by the devastating fires in August 2024, is actively involved by Lamda Development.

In particular, as noted in today’s announcement by Lamda Development, in collaboration with the Municipal Authority, the company made a series of targeted interventionswhich improve the residents’ daily life and contribute essentially to the prevention of future risks.

At a simple event, held by Attica Regional Governor Nikos Chardalia and Mayor Pentelis, Natasa Kosmopoulou, Chiefmarketing & Communications Officer of Lamda Development, Sissy Iliopoulou, handed over the company’s offer to Dimos Penteli, with the aim of making a significant step for Dimos Penteli. of him.

Specifically, Lamda Development’s support to the Municipality of Penteli includes:

  • A new 280 -meter protective railingwhich is placed along the stream Panagouli. This addition enhances the safety of locals and visitors in the area, as the railing protects against the risk of falling to a particularly steep point, where, until recently, dense vegetation was a natural protection measure.
  • Eight -eight new air conditioners in high school and Penteli High Schoolwith the aim of upgrading air conditioning for the uninterrupted educational process, ensuring a comfortable and more quality environment for students and teachers.
  • Readings of 27 acresboth on the slope of the stream Panagoulis and in the Alsylio Ag. Nicholas next to the Crystal Primary School of Penteli. An initiative that transforms the landscape, with the aim of restoring flora and regenerating the natural environment, as well as the creation of a fire zone in the area, through the selection of trees that enhance fire protection.

The event ended with tree planting in the Alsyli of Ag. Nicholas, which included students of the Crystal Elementary School, confirming the sense of collective responsibility and active action to protect the environment.
