Serious incidents occurred in Thessaloniki between hoodlums and police forces at dawn. Egnatia Street, at the height of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, remained closed for vehicles for two hours. A police officer was injured.

According to thestival.gr, at 2:20 Group of hoodlums came out of the AUTH and attacked with Molotov cocktails in a static squadron on Angelaki Street. MAT officers repelled the perpetrators of the attack with grenades – glow and tear gas.

The young people retreated into the backyard of the academic institution, in front of the Technical School. There was a party with live punk music in the area. Other attacks by hoodlums followed to police officers. In addition to Molotov cocktails, the riots launched dozens of fireworks and stones to the MAT men. For quite some time the atmosphere in the episodes area was choking.

A police officer suffered a burn in hand from a Molotov bomb blast. He had to be provided with first aid from the EKAB ambulance crew. Parked vehicles suffered damage to the throwing of objects.
