In the context of a large operation, held in Kos and in the wider area of ​​Attica, one of the two leaders of the criminal organization was arrested in Salamis.

A history of the case

The above are alleged to directly run a structured criminal organization with constant action, with the aim of transporting third -country nationals who are not entitled to enter Greece from Turkey’s coasts to the Greek territory. The organization consists of at least twelve other people in Turkey.

The role of the above two leaders was to coordinate and organize the transport of third -country nationals, finding floating in Greece, which they bought and transported to Turkey in order to successfully carry out illegal transport.
