Oseyo restaurant is found to know Korean food in SP

The expansion of Korean cuisine happens by different paths in the city. There are houses that use the reference even without having Asian menu; strongholds such as good retreat and acclimation; And recently, those who serve descendants – but they receive curious openness to know this food.

This is the case of Oseyo, who resembles the feeling of being entering a family home. In the open kitchen, the mother commands the pans as daughter and son -in -law serving customers. The history of the place refers to the pandemic times. That was when Lúcia Lee, born in Seoul, found in the recipes of her homeland an alternative to work in the field of clothing.

The image shows a dish of Bibimbap, which is a Korean meal. It started as a delivery and ten months ago became a small -ball restaurant with iron tables. In it, Kimchi ($ 9) is omnipresent. He arrived acidic and very spicy as it should be, but with mild unwanted bitterness. Already as filling of the Mandu, kind of fried cookie (R $ 37 the portion with six units), was great.

Tangsuyuk ($ 52) is another good option to start. They are finely breaded shiitakes under a thick, acid and sweet sauce. But ask if it is to share, because the portion is large and, although hot, can get sick.

Think about it before asking the dishes. A bittersweet entrance followed by a plate like Bulgogui (R $ 79), marinated beef in sweetened sauce, may not be a good idea.

In this case, better something more neutral, such as Bibimbap (R $ 68), a bowl that arrives colored by many vegetables, rice, marinated meat and egg. GOCHUJANG, fermented pepper paste, comes apart. The idea is to break the egg, mix everything and eat with spoon.

The best request was Jeyuk Bokkeum (R $ 79), sauteed panceta with vegetables in the Homemade A spicy sauce. Comes with rice and Banchan, side dishes that vary according to the day.

Missing dessert options are missing. The house has only Korean cookies (R $ 14) made with riot flour, Korean rice molasses, ginger and cinnamon. On the day of the visit, this only option was over.

The name Oseyo means “Come” in Portuguese. It’s really worth going. And if you are aware of the little friendly times: at night the house closes early at 9 pm, and only receives customers until fifteen minutes before this time. After that, it is no use insisting.
