It is not today that the candy of chef Diego Lozano, who is part of the Masterchef Confeitaria judges, are in the mouth of the people.

In his mix of candy and restaurant, he offers desserts with puff pastry. Two of them were requested. One was the pain au orange ($ 27.50) – the favorite.

The image shows a visible and sprinkled croissant with icing sugar. Croissant has a golden color and a crispy texture, with a rounded and spiral shape. The background is blurred, highlighting the bread.

The treat has perfumed orange stuffing, which balances the citrus of the fruit with the sweetness of chocolate and almond cream. The combination does not let the candy be nauseating. The mass brings, at the same time, crispness, lightness and softness.

The second was the puff pastry with lemon icing cream and meringue (R $ 37.50). Although he came with an exaggerated amount of meringue, the candy generally pleased. The dough is the same as that of Pain and looks like a classic lemon tart – but improved. The crispy and butored texture harmonizes with the filling, which is slightly citrus in the mouth.

The image shows a croissant cut in half, displaying layers of puff pastry. The interior is stuffed with a chocolate cream, visible between the layers of dough. Croissant is sprinkled with icing sugar and served on a light blue plate with small spots. The bottom of the image is blurred, suggesting a coffee environment.
