At low speeds the vehicles were moving in Aigaleo’s peripherals to the exit of Elefsina and on Athens Avenue from Chaidari to Aspropyrgos
The traffic on the Athens-Corinth Highway was normalized, where from the morning until early in the afternoon, it was particularly high as it departed from Attica for the regions of the last major “wave” of Easter.
In particular, from low speeds in the morning the vehicles were moving in the Aigaleo peripherals to the exit of Elefsina and on Athens Avenue from Chaidari to Aspropyrgos while there was plenty of traffic from Elefsina tolls to Megara.
The image on the Athens-Lamia Highway was much better where the vehicles were moving with a steady flow, while there were short delays in Afidnes tolls from time to time.
Nearly half a million vehicles left Attica
About the same levels as last year is this year’s Easter exit from Attica to the regions, according to Traffic Police.
Specifically from 6am on Monday to 6pm, today, Good Friday, 420,640 vehicles crossed the toll to Corinth and Lamia. The same period last year had left Attica 425,210 vehicles.
