The faithful in the Holy Trinity, known as the “Russian Church” of Philellinos, welcomed the first resurrection. The tone was given by the chief of the Temple, Father Syntios Victratos, who exchanged wishes with Russian and Greek faithful, as well as visitors who wanted to see the custom closely.

Many faithful, as the custom defines, then collected the sections from the broken boot for good luck.

It is recalled that, in March 1847, at the request of the Russian Embassy, the Church of the Holy Trinity was granted to the Russian community of Athens, which, thanks to the zeal and actions of the Russian Archimandrite and Professor of the Academy of Kievos, was not the case. According to the Archdiocese of Athens, the work of the design of the restoration was by Tsaros Nicholas Ivani Ivan Strom, Greek Telemachos Vlassopoulos and French Francois Boulanze. Work began in December 1850 and continued until April 1851, to continue, after a period of eleven months for technical reasons, in March 1852 and to be completed in late 1855. The monument was restored in its old form, but suffered some minor alterations. Also, the old stone iconostasis was replaced with a new very high and raised the Byzantine bell tower, which also encompasses, of course, of course, a deaf life fan, imitation of that church. The whole expense, covered by Russia, is estimated to have reached the amount of 14,995 drachmas of that time.

During the repair work, as Archimandrite writes in detail. Antoninos, discovered under the floor of the church and at a depth of five meters a covered tank, included in the famous ancient Peisistratio aqueduct, from which the bath of Nikodimou Street was water.

Because of the old frescoes, which was preserved complete until the revolution of 1821, did not remain important, the new hagiography was done by the son of German Philhellenic Thirschio, Ludwig Tirs (1825-1909). From the frescoes we note that of the Apostle Paul, in which the infinite Orthodox art painter gave the characteristics of King Otto! The inauguration took place in 1855 and the church was established in the name of the Holy Trinity. The Sacred Sequences are held in Greek and Russian.

From the relics of the Church we highlight the portable icon of St. Nicholas, a tribute to Queen Olga, and others who brought Russians after the 1917 revolution, sacred vestments, etc.

When the foundations of the Grand Bodosakis (Amalia 20) was excavated a few years ago, the monastery cemetery was found. In 1960, the plot of the demolished mansion Mr. Stathatos (Amalia 22) was expropriated and was formed into a small square, so the church breathing somewhat from the surrounding buildings and emerged.
