Traffic regulations will be in force from Monday 28 April 2025 until the latest on Thursday 05 June 2025
As of Monday, April 28, 2025, traffic arrangements will apply to the Athens-Corinth EO, in the Akrata area, due to the work of installing LEDs and their re-color lighting with a new generation of self-cleaning colors.
The necessary traffic arrangements will be implemented in three phases, excluding only from the direction of Athens, and will last until Thursday, June 05, 2025.
Phase 1 – Bullying Branch to Athens
i. Diverting the circulation of the industry to Athens to the Traffic Branch to Patras through Emergency Operations (AEA) by CH. 146.1 to CH. 143.3 and simultaneous doubt of the traffic sector to Patras between the above kilometers according to the following chart.
ii. The blockade of the entrance industry of the Akrata junction to the motorway heading to Athens due to a close distance of the acceleration lane from the opening of emergency (AEA) in CH. 146.1. Drivers heading from Akrata to Athens will be served by the next Derveni junction (CH 140.4).
Phase II – Lifting of diversion and alternate stripes in the direction of Athens
Removing the diversion of the first phase and alternately exclusion of the right and after the left lane in the direction of Athens by CH. 146.8 up to CH. 144.6.
Traffic to Patras is not affected.
Phase III – Bullying Branch to Athens
Repeat Apase for testing.
The long-term markings are the phases A ‘and B’ are estimated to take about 3.5 and 1.5 weeks respectively, while Phase C is about 2-3 days.
