Ford keeps the reins in the market for light business vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, recording the highest sales and March month
Ford remains the No. 1 manufacturer in the Greek market in the category of light professional vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes (LCV), as the company’s models recorded the highest sales in March compared to all its competitors.
With customers renewing their full confidence in unparalleled skills, non -negotiable reliability, but also in the technological superiority of the company’s LCV models, such as the new Ranger, Transit, Transit Custom, Transit Courier and Transit Connect, Ford, Ford was the 20th. Impressive share of 30% on the total market for light professional vehicles. This means that last month almost one in three LCVs classified in the Greek car market brought the Ford signals.
Overall for the first three months of this year (January-March 2025), Ford remains the undisputed leader of the LCV category, with a 30.2%share.
As with the whole of the European market, in which the Ranger remains the highest sales model in its category for 10 consecutive years, the hard-to-be-up-up vehicle was the high-sales vehicle in our country and in March among all LCV models of the Ford range.
Today, Ford’s tireless pick-up model is coming to give a new impetus to the class as, along with its other versions, it is now available in yet another exciting variant, which combines all the familiar virtues of the Ranger family with the benefits of electricity. The incompatible new Ranger PHEV offers all the capabilities of the Ranger in terms of towing (up to 3,500 kg), the payload (up to 1 tonne) and off-road performance (E-4WD four-wheel drive, short/long rear and blockage, as well as 43 km. – Most of any other production ranger.
The innovative PHEV drive system combines the Ford’s 2.3-liter EcoBoost petrol engine and the company’s 10-speed automatic transmission with a 75 kW electric motor and a 11.8 kWh capacity battery. Thanks to the maximum performance of 279 PS, the PHEV version produces more power than a 3.0L V6 diesel.
