Professor Konstantinos Griva’s complaint through his post on social media, he speaks of a savage attack by a group of hoodlums on teachers in Athens Law, during which a postgraduate student was injured.

The student reportedly has been taken to the Red Cross with head injuries to the head. It stitches on the head. And undergoes axial. It’s not a serious thing. Probably, getting discharged tonight.

More specifically, during an event entitled “Career Days”, including, among others, professors Ioannis Mazis and George Filis, about eight people, invaded the room with their faces covered, hoods and helmets, holding fire extinguishers and improvisations.

The “impact group”, as described by the present, attacked an unpredictable and brutal student who allegedly attempted to protect participants at the event.

The announcement of the Ministry of Education

The Ministry of Education, Religions and Sports, on the occasion of incidents at the Law School of the NCA, issued a statement condemning the events.

“The leadership of the Ministry of Education, Religions and Sports strongly condemns the criminal invasion of hoodlums at an event held at the Law School of the University of Athens. A doctoral student was injured during the attack, and were preserved by members of the teaching staff and students who participated in the event. Such vulgar actions of violence and intimidation only refer to fascist practices and have no place at the Public University, as they brutally affect academic freedom and the fundamental rights of each person.
The leadership of the Ministry of Education expresses its full support for the victims of the attack and awaits the immediate and complete investigation of the incident by the competent authorities so that the culprits of these heinous acts can be brought before justice. “
