The arrest of a 59 -year -old expatriate from Georgia who lives permanently in Alexandroupolis was proceeded yesterday by authorities after a joint operation of the EYP and Security.

The 59 -year -old, as he emerged from the investigation and confessed, was photographing and filming military installations and material on behalf of another person, and sent him the material through encrypted application, along with written information.

According to ANT1, the 59 -year -old’s “link”, also of Georgian origin, was identified and arrested in Lithuania. This person is active in organized crime and in particular drugs and robberies.
