From Saturday 24 May 2025 the line is reopening – Who will serve, which stops will make and which tickets are valid
The X80 “Piraeus – Acropolis – Express Constitution” will be re -operated on Saturday, May 24, 2025, with the aim of better serving the passenger public and visitors to the city.
The X80 bus line, according to an OASA briefing, will operate, connecting the cruise ship terminal of PPA in Piraeus (coast of Xaveriou and Akti Miaouli) with the Acropolis and the center of Piraeus with that of Athens, and will go back to Piraeus from the “Stavros Niarchos Foundation Culture Center”.
The X80 line covers, circularly, in about 60-75 minutes (depending on the day and time), 27 kilometers, that is, in about 35 minutes, the passenger can reach the center of Athens from the port of Piraeus and vice versa.
It consists of 16 stops in total, highlighting points of Piraeus and Athens with particular tourist interest, such as the Acropolis Museum, the Archaeological Museum of Piraeus, the Planetarium, the Piraeus Municipal Theater, the National Museum of Contemporary Art and the “Culture Center”.
Indicatively, there are stops at the two outputs of the cruise terminal in PPA, in the center of Piraeus, at the Neo Faliro Metro Station (Karaiskakis Stadium), at the Syngrou -Fix Metro Station, at the “Stavros Niarchos Foundation Culture Center” in the Acropolis and Acropolis.
From the intermediate stops of the new bus line, the transfer is provided:
- In Metro Stations (“Syngrou-Fix”, “Neo Faliro” and “Constitution”),
- On X96 (from Piraeus) and X95 (from Constitution) to Athens International Airport “El. Venizelos. “
The routes will take place on a daily basis for about 30 minutes, rush hours, and the line will operate from 8:30 to 19:35 (departure hours) from the starting point, on the Xaveri coast).
On the X80 bus line only apply:
1. The daily ticket of unlimited routes, worth € 4.10, which enables the passenger to move on the same day and throughout the rest of the OASA network outside Express airport.
2. The tourist ticket, worth 20 euros, with which the passenger moves indefinitely for three (3) days throughout the network, including his move to and from Athens International Airport “El. Venizelos”.

The bus routes will be posted on the implementation of the telematics (www.oasa.gr).
It is noted that on the days when the Terminal Passenger Station of Themistokleous coast (passenger B – Portal E12) operates, the starting point will be temporarily transported inside the PPA area, between the E12 entrance of the PPA and the terminal passenger station of the Akis Themistokleous (immediately after the site).
