For members of voluntary organizations who have submitted complete supporting documents until 28/02/2025 – Dates for theoretical and practical training
Education for the members of the Volunteer Organizations (EOs) of Civil Protection for which they have been submitted to the Independent Directorate of Volunteerism and Education of the General Secretariat for Civil Protection (GAPP) begins for this year, full supporting documents for the acquisition of volunteer Civil Protection Unit 28/025.

Education includes:
a) Introductory Theoretical Program for Volunteer Civil Protection, available through the asynchronous education platform within the framework of the operation of the Civil Protection Academy (APOP). The platform will be launched for the new members on Wednesday, June 4 and will remain open until Tuesday, June 24.

(b) Theoretical/practical training through a total duration of sixteen (16) hours, in the thematic field of forest fires (forest protection/forest firefighting). Education will take place from Saturday 31 May until Sunday, June 22, at the Fire Brigade, Fire Stations and Fire Brigades or other appropriate places throughout Greece that will be designated by a new Fire Brigade.
