The incident
In a column at DEDDIE in Keratsini, a tanker fell shortly before five in the afternoon.
According to eyewitnesses, the road is uphill and the truck was stuck with it crashing back and falling into the pillar, which almost broke at its base. The fire brigade, as well as a DEDDIE workshop that interrupted the electricity rushed to the area, so that there would be no electricity in the event of cables or column. At the same time, police officers closed this section of March 25th and Karaolis and Dimitriou streets, as well as areas of Ermou and Repouli.
The task of removing the truck is difficult and by 18.30 it was not yet completed as there were fears of the static of the column.
