In the estimation that about 21kg of dust per acre were deposited in the Heraklion region, the Director of the Institute of Speleological Research of Greece, Mr. Kaloust Paragamian, proceeded, on the occasion of the spectacular concentration of African dust that took place on Sunday (26/5).

The finding came after an attempt to clean the outside of the workshop, just hours after the peak of the phenomenon. According to the data he presented himself, cleaning a 12 -square -foot surface, a amount of dust reached 250 grams was collected.
