On June 30, the elections are held for the new Board of Directors of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce.
At a time when geopolitical uncertainty, technology developments, energy transitions and challenges of green growth are shaping a new economic landscape, the Hellenic-American Chamber is called upon to continue to play a key role in supporting Greek businesses.
So, these elections mark a critical turning point for the Chamber, as they take place in a complex international and domestic environment, where entrepreneurship is called upon to meet new challenges, but also to take advantage of new opportunities.
Members of the Chamber coming from the whole spectrum of the business world are invited to choose those who will represent their voice for the coming years. It is recalled that candidates come from different sectors – from industry, energy, technology, pharmaceutical industry, tourism, legal services and other critical areas – reflecting the diversity and pluralism of Greek business.
It is recalled that Alexandros Kotsopoulos has stated their interest in the position of President with more than 15 years in the Chamber, who has served as Secretary -General for many years, a position he holds until today by Yiannis Sarakakis, as well as a long -term term in charge of 2019.
According to the Articles of Association, the members of the Chamber will elect a 25 -member Board of Directors, which in turn will highlight the new Chairman and the Governing Committee.
