A 42 -year -old man brought to trial before the Three -Member Court of Appeals of Thessaloniki, accused of being a criminal group who was blackmailing the control of the Loukoumadas Sales of Loukoumades, was brought to prison.

The Court found him guilty of constantly extortion, gang and a series of misdemeanors, without the recognition of the mitigating, “showing” the way to the prisons, since the appeal was decided to have no suspension in the execution of the sentence.

By the same decision, he was acquitted of two crimes that burdened him, and in particular for attempted homicide against a petty man and trafficking, associated with the working conditions of foreign retailers.

The court of the court was referred to another 11 people, some of whom were acquitted and some were sentenced to prison sentences that were either converted into monetary penalties or suspended appeal.

Police investigation into the action of the so -called “Loukoumades Mafia” began after attempting to attempt homicide against a petty bourgeoisie in a Nikiti area (for which the 42 -year -old was acquitted). The multi -page referendum included acts that took place from May to September 2021.

Apologizing the basic defendant denied the whole of the acts.
