6% increase in sales of car in the country in June this year, as, according to ELSTATIn this month, 25,048 cars (new or used overseas) were released for the first time, compared to 23,640 released in the corresponding month of 2024 (an increase of 0.9% was released in June 2024 compared to the corresponding month of 2023). The new ones amount to 15,915 against 15,627 released in June 2024, up 1.8%.

In the first semester, 137,902 cars (new or used foreign) were released for the first time against 133,802 released in the corresponding period of 2024, increasing 3.1% (6.5% increase in January-June 2024 compared to 2023). The new cars amount to 84,117 versus 84,147 released in the first half of 2024 and did not change any particular change (0.04%decrease).

At the same time, 12,782 new motorcycles were released in June more than 50 cc (new and used overseas) compared to 9,719 in the corresponding month of 2024, showing an increase of 31.5% (10.9% increase in June 2024 compared to the corresponding month of 2023). The new motorcycles amount to 12,364 versus 9,314 released in June 2024, increasing 32.7%.

In the first semester, 45,049 new motorcycles of over 50 cc (new and used overseas) were released against 40,878 released in the corresponding period of 2024, showing an increase of 10.2% (15.0% increased in the January-January-January 2024 compared to 2024). The new motorcycles amount to 43,061 against 38,762 released in the first half of 2024, up 11.1%.
