The action of a criminal group that cultivated a particularly large number of hemp seedlings in an inaccessible forest area of the Municipality of Agia Larissa, identifying more than 6,000 cannabis saplings, managed to ascertain the executives of the Drug Enforcement and Drug Administration and Division.

As part of a coordinated police operation launched in the early hours yesterday, Monday, July 14, 2025, a wide -ranging plantation was found with a total of 6,235 cannabis saplings.

In the case, two foreign men, aged 37 and 22 years, were arrested, who, at noon yesterday, were found by raised police officers to fall in the plantation along with an unknown – so far – accomplice.
