The action of a criminal group that cultivated a particularly large number of hemp seedlings in an inaccessible forest area of the Municipality of Agia Larissa, identifying more than 6,000 cannabis saplings, managed to ascertain the executives of the Drug Enforcement and Drug Administration and Division.
As part of a coordinated police operation launched in the early hours yesterday, Monday, July 14, 2025, a wide -ranging plantation was found with a total of 6,235 cannabis saplings.
This plantation was extended to 24 diasomies that were joined together by paths, covering a total area of approximately 10 acres.
2 arrests
In the case, two foreign men, aged 37 and 22 years, were arrested, who, at noon yesterday, were found by raised police officers to fall in the plantation along with an unknown – so far – accomplice. Understanding the police, the aforementioned fled, however, the 37 -year -old carrying a nylon bag with raw cannabis, weighing 8 kg and 470 grams, was immobilized on the spot, while the 22 -year -old was found nearby. In terms of the third person, investigations are being carried out to identify it and is sought.
A criminal case was filed against them for violating drug law and a criminal group.
The area was identified in the area with household utensils and other objects, improvised construction used as a plant dryer, as well as irrigation network, consisting of tires that were connected to all diagnostics, -2 -improvised water collection tanks, tools and tools.
What was found

The detainees were led to the Larissa Criminal Prosecutor and the case was referred to the main questioning.
