The Piraeus Public Prosecutor’s Office has been sent to the detriment of a female President of the Athens Court of Appeals, which is said to have systematic use of drugs and is expected to be judged whether it will be filed or led to the audience.
The case has also been dealing with the Drug Enforcement Division of Security, following a complaint against the President of the Athens Court of Appeals for the purchase of drug traders and systematic drug use.
In particular, a preliminary examination was carried out by the Prosecutor of the Court of First Instance, who posted the case in the file and in his report to the Supervisory Prosecutor of Appeals, he stated the reasons why he did not initiate a criminal proceedings against the Presidential Chairman.
The Athens Court of Appeals did not upheld the archiving of the case, as this case cannot be judged by an Athens Public Prosecutor, since the judge involved in Athens and therefore cannot be investigated by a judge serving in the same city.
Consequently, the case was forwarded to the Supreme Court for a regulation of jurisdiction, as it is said and it was decided that the competent court to deal with the case is of Piraeus.
