Through gov.gr, Civil Protection Volunteers can submit their application electronically for the issuance of the Civil Protection Volunteer Bulletin in the context of the cooperation of the Ministries of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection and Digital Governance.

In this way, as stated in a joint announcement by the Ministries of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection and Digital Governance, volunteers are significantly facilitated, while highlighting the importance of civil protection for the state and society. Also, as stated in the announcement, bureaucracy is reduced and ensured the reliability and authenticity of the document.

It is noted that the service can be used by volunteers whose organizations are integrated into the Single Civil Protection Volunteer Register.

In particular, the service is available on Gov.gr, in the “Citizen and Daily” section and in the “Volunteering” subsection. The procedure is as follows:

  • Volunteers enter the TAXISnet codes, complement the application form and choose the voluntary organization to which they belong.
  • It is a prerequisite for having a photo of them on myphoto and to have given the service to the service to retrieve it.
  • Afterwards, the legal representative of the voluntary organization confirms the data and then the application shall be submitted to the competent department of the General Secretariat for Civil Protection for control and processing.

Applicants receive a notice of the response to their application to their contact details if they have been registered with the National Register of Communication (EMP).

The bulletin is now issued in digital form and posted on the citizen’s door to gov.gr and gov.gr Wallet. It has a unique verification code, QR Code, as well as the advanced electronic stamp of the Ministry of Digital Governance.

The planning and implementation of the service were carried out by the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance and the National Network of Infrastructure and Research Technology (EYDITE SA-GRET) of the Ministry of Digital Governance in cooperation with the General Secretariat for Civil Protection of the Ministry of Civilization. Citizens’ details are automatically drawn through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat for Information Systems and Digital Government.
