The episode took place in the early hours of Tuesday, July 23, 2025 in Rhodes, starring young tourists from Israel and Palestine. ELAS After research, he resulted in specific findings on the sequence of events.

Specifically around 04:30 in the morning, the R/T center received notice on Orphanidou Street, in a popular nightlife in the city. At the point her police forces rushed OPKE and the local service.

According to testimonies of witnesses, the utilization of video material and other information, a group of about 20 young Israeli tourists aged 18-19 was having fun at a store. Around 04:00 they began shouting slogans in favor of Israel, triggering another group of about 10 people, shouting slogans in favor of Palestine and called the first “killers”. The quarrel escalated, but the second group left after intervention by store employees.

When they left the store and while heading to their hotel, the Israelis were involved in a new episode with an unknown person on the street before fleeing. The distance between the shop and the hotel is about 100 meters.

After investigation, nine Israeli nationals were identified, allegedly involved in the incident. Their full details and passports were recorded, and it was found that everyone left the island by air on the morning of the same day.

ELAS It continues its pre -trial actions and searches for any other involved. It should be noted that one of the people involved verbally confirmed the version of the events, as described in the Police Bulletin.

The case remains open, with authorities evaluating all the evidence and investigating possible responsibilities to ensure that class and protection of the island’s citizens and visitors.
