Ford customers in Greece can now make the transition to electricity more confident than ever, as Ford Motor Greece announced the Ford Power Promise initiative.
This initiative includes a set of services that provides customers from integrated charging solutions and an extensive battery guarantee, up to specialized support services. Power Promise is Ford’s commitment to its customers to easily make the transition to electricity to enjoy all the capabilities of the brand’s electric vehicles.
Ford offers a comprehensive range of electric models in all popular categories of SUVs, Crossover, Multi-Active Vehicles and Van, including models such as: Puma Gen-E, Explorer, Capri, Mustang Mach-E, E-Tourneo Courier, E Transit Courier, E-Tourneo Custom, e-transit custom and e-transit.
Rejecting myths and dealing with concerns
Ford’s study shows that at the moment some potential electric vehicles are reluctant to abandon traditional fuels, suggesting various concerns: public charge, home charger installation processes, battery life and complexity of vehicles are some of them.
The Ford Power Promise program is specifically designed to address these issues, providing incentives, extra facilities and support, thereby helping to eliminate customer concerns while allowing them to enjoy all the benefits of electricity.
“We know that more than 90% of our customers with electric vehicles are satisfied with their home charge, while almost 70% say they would never return to an internal combustion vehicle,” said Jon Williams, General Manager, Ford Blue and Model E, Europe. “However, for those who are still not sure of making the transition, the Ford Power Promise program is there to deal with worries and support their needs.”

The Ford Power Promise initiative is based on four pillars, each of which directly faces the basic concerns of potential electric vehicles:
• Home charge
Finding a suitable home charger and its installation can be for many a complex and time -consuming process. Ford makes things easy by suggesting tried -and -trimmed homewriters and reliable partners to install them, having also secured special discounts for all its customers. This ensures the fastest, reliable and economical charge for each Ford electric vehicle.
• public charge
Public charge of an electric car is more economical than the use of liquid fuels. However, in relation to domestic charging, the cost is comparatively increased. Ford, in collaboration with selected providers, has secured special prices per KWH for public chargers for even more economical public charge.
• Factory Battery Guarantee and High Voltage Companions
In the context of Ford Power Promise, all new Ford’s purely electric customers enjoy a factory warranty of 8 years, both for high voltage battery – for absolute confidence and protection in the most critical accessory of an electric vehicle – as well as other high voltage components such as the electric motor. This extensive factory warranty covers the case of abnormal loss in battery capacity and the rare case of high voltage components failure, ensuring that each Ford electric vehicle will continue to operate seamlessly by providing high performance and autonomy for many years.
• Support Services
The fourth pillar of the Ford Power Promise includes integrated support services and relieves customers from the stress of using the new EV technology, while helping them quickly familiarize them with it.
