Six non -state HEIs will work in Greece From the following academic year according to information from “Kathimerini” and based on the report of the National Higher Education Authority to the Ministry of Education.

– the Keele University which works with the metropolitan college,
– The British Open University working with Anatolia College of Thessaloniki,
– the London Metropolitan Universitywhich works with City Unity College in Athens and
– the university Derby, which in Greece works with Mediterranean College.
Five applications did not qualify while one withdrew in the parade.
For a very rigorous assessment to comply with the qualitative criteria, the ministry officials speak.

However, those who have been cut have the right to return to operate the academic year 2026-2027 or later.
