Significant deficiencies at the Aegina Health Center are brought to light by the death of a 79 -year -old woman on the beach of Agia Marina last Friday, due to a lack of ambulance driver.
Specifically, on Friday, August 22 in the afternoon, the woman was recovered from the sea, where she had lost consciousness. He immediately received first aid from a private and lifeguard. During this time swimmers were constantly phoning the Health Center, which however said it was unable to send an ambulance due to a lack of driver. Eventually the 79 -year -old woman ended up with the unfortunate woman transferred.
