Ford Pro is once again magnetizing the looks at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition (TIF) at the city’s exhibition center presenting to the Greek public the newest and most up-to-date professional models of its popular range-with the spearhead of the new Ranger Plug-in Hybrid, the only pick-up model.
With a horsepower of 281ps and 697nm torque – the highest torque recorded so far compared to any other production ranger – the new Ranger Plug -in Hybrid is at the same time a highly capable vehicle for both professional use and fun.

The new Ranger Plug-in Hybrid is powered by an advanced motion system that combines the Ford’s 2.3-liter EcoBoost petrol engine and the company’s 10-speed automatic transmission with a 75 kW engine that takes a “life” of a lithium-ion battery with 11.8 kWh.
The incomparable economy enjoyed by professional drivers, even in relation to the diesel-powered Ranger, is a trademark of the new plug-in hybrid version. The average fuel consumption it offers is only 3.4 lt/100 km when the car moves with the battery charged to the hybrid operating program.
At the same time, the compact battery offers with a full charge the ability to drive the EV program with zero pollutant emissions and a very low cost for up to 50 km – a distance that usually does not exceed the daily needs of professionals.
The unprecedented economy and the low operating costs of the new Ranger Plug-in Hybrid are accompanied by equally high cargo and towing and towing. Thus, the new Ranger Plug-in Hybrid is able to offer all professionals up to 800 kg and top towing up to 3,500 kg. At the same time, as in every model of the Ranger range, customers can benefit from the unique off-road capabilities offered by both the E-4WD four-wheel drive system and the Dual-Range transmission (short/long relationships) and a rear differential locking of the new Ranger Plug-in Hybid.
